The Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass at 2011 Chamber Music America Conference

The Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass was delighted to meet all of our colleagues at the 2011 Chamber Music America Conference. Operations manager Natalie DeJong met with several presenters interested in bringing the group to their venues. Presenters were interested in the size of the group and were happy to know that they could get the twelve piece ensemble for the cost of a string quartet using outside funders like PennPAT.

Size Matters!

Size Matters!

Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass has revamped it's pricing and group size to fit many different venues. We know that size matters! There are many different formations available. Ask how you can get this diverse virtuoso brass ensemble for less than the cost of most brass quintets. Five players is fine...our show has up to twelve diverse virtuoso brass players. Because we are a self managed organization with no middle man in between us and the presenter, in most cases we can offer our show with up to twelve players for less than the cost of a brass quintet!

Who said brass is just for boys?

Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass is a compilation of some of America's best male and female brass players from all walks of life. The group is committed to showing kids and adults that boys and girls both equally have a shot at being a brass player and that there is no longer a glass ceiling in the brass world.
